FiberQ
Engineered for high-density networking environments in Berlin's advanced manufacturing and telemetry clusters, these integrated modular ports reduce board footprints by up to 50%.
As Germany drives the next tier of Industrie 4.0, Berlin has re-established itself as a hotbed for hardware startups, modern telecom integration, and medical engineering clusters. From the innovation centers of Adlershof Science and Technology Park to the modern Siemensstadt Square project, the demand for compact, ruggedized interface solutions is surging. Hardware designers are challenged with integrating multi-gigabit Ethernet networks while providing peripheral USB data and power routes on packed printed circuit board (PCB) layouts.
Our specialized RJ45 connectors with integrated USB ports (both stacked and side-by-side configurations) answer this spatial constraint. By consolidating a Category 6 Gigabit network channel and high-speed USB 3.0 ports into a single, shielded metal housing, manufacturers can significantly reduce trace lengths and minimize the mechanical structural vulnerabilities of system chassis.
In medical diagnostic systems situated around Berlin's top research hospitals, or in smart charging grids deployed across the Brandenburg metropolitan region, these connectors serve as the primary link. They ensure electrical safety through galvanic isolation, suppress electromagnetic interference (EMI) using integrated magnetics, and deliver high physical resistance against vibrations in tough industrial environments.
Achieving reliable multi-gigabit Ethernet speeds directly parallel to high-current USB paths requires strict adherence to physical layer (PHY) layout strategies and advanced shielding mechanisms.
Stacking RJ45 and USB elements brings fast data rates close together. We utilize internal metal shielding barriers (Faraday cages) inside the connector housing to prevent the 5 Gbps frequency of USB 3.0 SuperSpeed lines from degrading the differential signaling of Gigabit Ethernet (1000Base-T).
By integrating the isolation transformer, common-mode chokes, and Bob Smith termination resistors inside the connector, we filter out electrical noise from industrial motors and switches, preserving signal integrity over cable lengths up to 100 meters.
We specify gold plating (up to 50 micro-inches) over copper-alloy contacts. This limits contact resistance, ensures compliance with high-cycle mate/unmate actions (minimum 750 insertions), and protects against corrosion in humid industrial environments.
Global market pressures require robust components with secure logistics. Industrial equipment suppliers look for connectors that meet international performance standards like RoHS, REACH, UL safety markings, and CE certifications. Our production network meets these requirements by maintaining multiple sourcing avenues for premium liquid crystal polymers (LCP) and high-performance copper-based contact materials.
In automation applications, combined ports act as local monitoring endpoints. An operator can plug a laptop into the USB port to configure diagnostic settings or run firmware updates locally, while the RJ45 port handles continuous telemetry transfer to the main cloud environment. This is especially useful in hard-to-reach setups like wind turbines or outdoor telecommunication towers.
As global supply lines face new challenges, we keep warehousing reserves in centralized hubs. This enables us to maintain fast shipping times to Berlin, Munich, Frankfurt, and key industrial centers across Northern and Western Europe.

Key technical details regarding crosstalk, shielding, and compliance standards for hardware engineers.
We use internal copper-alloy ground shields between the upper RJ45 block and the lower USB interface. This acts as a Faraday shield, isolating the high-speed differential signal lines of the USB (operating with 5 Gbps clock transients) from the Cat5e/Cat6 Ethernet cables, keeping NEXT and FEXT levels within DIN EN 55032 Class B limits.
Yes. Our Ethernet paths are rated for standard PoE (802.3af), PoE+ (802.3at), and can be customized to support PoE++ (802.3bt Type 3/4) up to 90W. The internal magnetics and PCB trace design are built to handle the higher currents without exceeding standard operating temperatures.
The connector housing is molded from high-performance Liquid Crystal Polymer (LCP) or High-Temperature Nylon, rated to UL 94V-0 for flame resistance and compatible with lead-free wave soldering up to 260°C. Contacts are made from phosphor bronze, plated with nickel and finished with up to 50 micro-inches of gold at mating surfaces.
